$5,000 Goal

This year, we’re focusing our fundraising on the many senior dogs we’ve been rescuing. The first step with each senior is a full blood panel and thorough vet exam. Most of them—about 9 out of 10—need dental care, which can be very expensive. For example, our little Eddie just had a $750 dental and is now beginning heartworm treatment, thanks to good bloodwork results. We currently have three more seniors, ages 12 to 16, who also need extensive vet care. Seniors may cost more to care for, but we adopt them out at lower fees because we believe every dog deserves love in their golden years. We truly adore our seniors!

Mission

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
