Children’s Genesis provides a fun, educational and faith-based environment by learning through play and stimulating evolving cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth through developmentally appropriate practices. We are dedicated to providing a secure learning atmosphere that will stimulate every child’s love of learning and discovering our world
We are an early childhood center located in the Redbird area of south Oak Cliff. At Children’s Genesis, we want all our students to meet all their developmental milestones. We provide fun and engaging activities in all our classroom centers to encourage learning through play.
Two things are true. All children deserve access to high-quality care, and teachers deserve to be paid a living wage. Unfortunately, many early childhood education centers have to choose between lower tuition for the families they serve or higher wages for their teachers. This is not fair to anyone, and we are determined to change the landscape. As a nonprofit, we are committed to providing a high-quality service, and also advocating for the rights of our service providers.
We focus on early education from the very beginning, and believe that every child deserves access to a safe, enriching environment, especially during their formative years.
We believe that all teachers deserve to earn a livable wage. Our organization is in need of funding to sustain quality teachers for our students while maintaining affordable tuition for families in our community. Funding for staff development will enable our teachers to attend trainings and gain tools needed to enhance the lives of our students, their families, and our community. If we're able to exceed our fundraising goals, we'll be able to offer childcare scholarships to families in need.
