Chefsville has been part of the Wylie, Rowlett, Carrollton, Richardson, Allen, Garland, Coppell, The Colony, Mansfield, Grapevine, Fort Worth, and Flower Mound Recreation Centers and ISD’s for over 15 years. Our programs increase the quality of life by giving families a chance to grow together and make connections around food. We are an Educational Nonprofit and rely on our gracious donors and the grants we receive.
Services: Chefsville provides a variety of services to kids and adults. Camps, classes, birthday parties, health fairs, daycare programs, Girl Scout and Boy Scout Legacy Cooking badges, and cooking clubs. Cooking camps and classes empower kids and families by educating them on how to reduce obesity rates and increasing food literacy.
Chefsville’s mission is to provide life-skill education such as cooking skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The life skills taught will bring about a higher degree of confidence to those learning these skills, bringing families closer together, which in turn builds stronger communities. Chefsville combines culinary skills with Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies.
Small appliances, kitchen gadgets such as cutting boards, measuring cups and spoons, Kids knifes, boxes of paper, boxes of all colors of toner cartilages, Eco-friendly disposable plates, forks and spoons.
We have a great need for donations so that all children can have access to these programs and classes whether they can afford them or not.
