This project focuses on necessary campus improvements, enabling our work of creating a "third space" in the Dallas community. The scope of the project was identified through daily building use and notation of its limitations. It is not part of a larger capital project but is critical for campus preservation.

Our bathrooms are old, with aging plumbing, stalls, and flooring. ADA accessibility improvements will remove a tripping hazard and add an accessible west entrance. The partition wall in our multi-use space is very difficult to operate. Many windows do not open and close properly, posing security risks, and their single-pane design is energy-inefficient.

With increasing campus traffic, we are hopeful these improvements will enable us to serve the community much more effectively!

Mission

Central Commons exists to create a common place for the flourishing of the surrounding community. We own and operate a revitalized, historic church building in Dallas, Texas. We believe that church buildings are an essential, often distinctly underutilized resource, and we seek not only to foster a community for people desiring to explore their faith, but also to proactively serve the felt needs of the community around us. Come join us!
