$120,000 Goal

Celina YoungLife/WyldLife has grown tremendously over the years, but we believe we are just getting started! YoungLife doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight - they take time, patience, trust and consistency.

So YoungLife leaders log many hours with kids in our community - where they are, as they are. We faithfully spend time with kids, listen to their stories and learn what's important to them because we genuinely care about their joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks. We believe in the power of presence. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because their leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

This is the first step of a lifelong journey; the choices they make today, based upon God's love for them, will impact future decisions, careers chosen, marriages formed and families raised. All ripples from the time when a YoungLife leader reached out and entered their world.

Our Needs

Celina Young Life is currently raising our yearly operating budget of about $120,000. One time gifts are a huge blessing to our ministry, but monthly donors are also greatly appreciated! This budget allows for ministry to happen in our town with middle school friends and high school friends as we prepare to launch to CHS! This will support one part-time WyldLife coordinator and one full-time Area Director along with providing all the funds needed to run clubs, small groups, camp, contact work & so much more!

Mission

The Mission of Celina Young Life & Wyldlife is introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Our volunteer adults meet middle school and high school students and build relationships via adventure and day to day life. They hope to share the Gospel of Jesus to them, and love them regardless of their response.
