Since 2012, CHAT remains the first and only non-profit educational youth program in Cedar Hill that offers after-school and summer camp programs for children ages 5 through 16. Our programs have served over 1,900 children to date, and meet needs in the community by:
• Creating a safe, structured environment for the children of working parents, immersing them in constructive activities, and in turn, reducing risk.
• Providing programs that improve academic performance by increasing class participation, reducing class outbursts, and fostering student leadership.
• Inspiring kids make better choices, which result in improved health as reported by their parents.• Creating a safe, structured environment for the children of working parents, immersing them in constructive activities, and in turn, reducing risk.

Our Needs
Even though we have seen increased interest in our programs over the years, we are unable to adequately serve additional families in need of our services due to a lack of space and staff. The funding of these programs will help address this, ensuring that more children can continue to learn and grow in a healthy, safe environment.
