Concert Bells of Fort Worth

Concert Bells of Fort Worth is an auditioned community handbell ensemble privileged to share unique repertoire across DFW and beyond, both to seek new audiences and share the joy of ringing handbells. Community education and enrichment through handbell musicianship is the focus of our biyearly concert seasons. We are active in the national guild organization Handbell Musicians of America and boast ringers who are well-known clinicians, ringers, and composers within the handbell community!

Last year we used proceeds from NTGD to refurbish our bells. Now that they have been adjusted, upgraded, tuned, and cleaned, we turn our attention to the regular "business" of our ensemble: performing! Our operating expenses are typical for an arts organization: sheet music, equipment insurance, postcards, postage, printed programs, website maintenance, conductor honorarium, guest musicians, music commissions, ASCAP fees, and other miscellany. 

This year we are also doing something that we haven't done before. We are sponsoring a composition contest! The winning entry could be awarded $1500 and be performed during our spring 2027 season. Full details can be found on our website.
