Concert Bells of Fort Worth is an auditioned community handbell ensemble privileged to share unique repertoire across DFW and beyond, both to seek new audiences and share the joy of ringing handbells. Community education and enrichment through handbell musicianship is the focus of our biyearly concert seasons. We are active in the national guild organization Handbell Musicians of America and boast ringers who are well-known clinicians, ringers, and composers within the handbell community!

Our Needs: Bells and Beyond!

This year we're putting a special focus on the bells - specifically, sending our primary 5-octave set up to Pennsylvania to be refurbished at the factory. After 25+ years of playing on them with minimal maintenance, it is certainly time for a bit of TLC. Handbell refurbishing includes disassembly, cleaning and tuning of the bell castings, replacement of the clapper mechanisms inside, and readjustments so they all play consistently again. An important additional consideration is shipping costs to Pennsylvania!

All of the proceeds from NTGD this year will go towards this refurbishment process. With this work done, the bells and our music will have a much cleaner, warmer sound and it will preserve the bells to continue functioning well for years in the future. Thank you for all your help, enabling us to take care of our beloved equipment and continue sharing the joy of handbell music with North Texas!

Mission
