Cause For Paws is a low-cost spay, neuter and vaccination program. We serve over 101 surrounding cities. We have administered over 121,368 Rabies vaccines, spayed over 39,932 dogs and cats, and neutered over 30,766 dogs and cats. We also provide services for 7 area animal rescue organizations.
We also provide spay and neuters for low income residents through a Hunt County Fund.
On April 29, 2024 we moved into our new location, 5810 Joe Ramsey Blvd in Greenville . The Greenville Animal Shelter is located next door which is very hopeful that it has increase their adoptions. This facility was made possible by the Sandy Berger Estate and her Executrix Sue Ann Harting. Many customers have expressed their praise and love the new facility.
Cause For Paws is proud to be the only provider in Greenville for sterilization of the pets adopted from the Greenville Animal Shelter, Commerce Animal Shelter and the Royse City Animal Shelter.
Cause For Paws is a non-profit organization founded in 2002. Our goal is to provide pets and owners with affordable sterilization, vaccinations and basic preventative medications. By providing these low cost services, Cause For Paws is working towards reducing the number of animals euthanized in shelters due to pet population.
