Cattailz educates and assists Parker & Tarrant County residents with the process of establishing and providing care to their own feral colonies.
In addition, we place ferals as barn cats with citizens that provide them food and shelter. The cats are taken to their new home, a temporary shelter is erected and their caretaker is instructed on how to properly and adequately care for them.
The Cattailz Sanctuary is located on 7 acres of cat paradise and is ALL about the cats. The sanctuary is where special needs, feral and un-adoptable (for whatever reason) kitties call home. At their disposal is food, water, shelter and all the head-scratchin' they could ever dream of.

Our Needs

North Texas Giving Day provides additional funding to assist us in continuing to perform the life saving work we do. The generous contributions from donors like you allows us to provide MORE TNR, MORE medical care, MORE food and MORE shelter for MORE of these forgotten and lost little creatures of Gods wandering this lonely and oftentimes cruel earth.
Cattailz current needs are spay and neuter and medical care for the MANY cats and kittens we have saved from euthanasia at the Paris Texas Shelter located in Paris, Texas. Some of these rescued babies had little or no pledges, however, that did not prevent us from saving their lives!
However, we are always in need of donations for TNR, medical care, food and shelters for the numerous colonies throughout the Parker County and Tarrant County areas, the cats and kittens in foster waiting to be adopted and the Cattailz Sanctuary crew.
Thank you for taking your valuable time to learn about our organization.
We hope that you will consider Cattailz for North Texas Giving Day.
A huge thank you to those that support our organization by helping us to help them!

Mission

Cattailz mission is simple - to save lives!

Our main goal is to TNR (trap-neuter-return), provide medical care, food and shelter and colonize every stray, feral and community cat we come in contact with, in Parker County and Tarrant County, Texas.

During "kitten season", when shelters are over capacity, we pull from them to prevent code red cats and kittens from euthanasia.

Cattailz believes if we can alter (spay or neuter) every cat and kitten, THIS is only effective way to solve the problem of overpopulation of stray and feral cats and overcrowded shelters resulting in unnecessary euthanasia.

Needs

We are always in need of a volunteer to assist with transporting to spay/neuter clinics.

Also, we can always use monetary donations to assist with the cost of spay/neutering, dry and wet food, litter, flea meds, pee pads, the list goes on and on.

If you have a donatable item, please reach out to us.

Equity Statement

Currently, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cattailz has struggled greatly and our non-profit is being funded out of pocket. Cattailz has been around over 15 years and never faced the financial hardships we are facing today. God always provides and we are certain that He will continue to do so.
