As a growing nonprofit founded from lived experience, we understand the challenges many patients face beyond diagnosis — including mental health struggles, lack of support, financial stress, and difficulty navigating life after treatment. At Catrina Marcell Consulting, we are raising $10,000 through North Texas Giving Day to expand breast cancer education, early detection awareness, patient support, and survivorship programming across North Texas.
These funds will directly support individuals and families impacted by breast cancer through access to resources, community programming, and advocacy-driven outreach.
Funding Breakdown:
* $3,000 – Mammogram Support & Early Detection Awareness
Funds education, outreach, and support resources that encourage early detection and help reduce barriers to breast cancer screening access for uninsured and underinsured individuals.
* $2,500 – Diagnostic & Biopsy Support Navigation
Supports education, guidance, and resource navigation for individuals who need follow-up testing, helping them better understand next steps in their care journey.
* $2,000 – Community Events & Wellness Programming
Covers costs for community workshops, survivor gatherings, mental health conversations, and breast cancer awareness events designed to educate and empower.
* $1,500 – Survivor Support Resources & Care Kits
Provides printed materials, emotional wellness tools, and care resources for individuals navigating treatment and survivorship.
* $1,000 – Outreach & Underserved Community Engagement
Expands our ability to reach underserved populations through education, advocacy, and community partnerships.
