Fuel the Fire:
Empower the Next Generation with Camp Fire First Texas

At Camp Fire First Texas, we know that every great change starts with a single spark, and we know that it’s what we do with that spark that determines how bright it can shine. When nurtured, given air and fuel, a spark grows into a flame—a flame that can light up the future for children, teens, and families across North Texas.

On North Texas Giving Day, You Can Fuel the Fire

North Texas Giving Day is a powerful day of giving, where our community comes together to support causes that make a difference. Last year, over $63.9 million was raised for local nonprofits. You can help us fuel the fire that ignites lifelong success this year.

How Your Gift Sparks Change

Your support on North Texas Giving Day directly fuels programs that empower young people to discover their potential, develop critical life skills, and become leaders in their communities:

Outdoor Connection:

At Camp El Tesoro, children unplug from daily distractions and connect with nature, building confidence, resilience, and teamwork through hands-on experiences in the great outdoors.

Teens in Action:

This program provides leadership development and community service opportunities for teens, helping them build a strong sense of purpose and responsibility while making a positive impact in their neighborhoods.

Early Education Workforce Development:

By supporting early childhood educators through apprenticeship and training programs, we ensure that the youngest members of our community receive high-quality care and education, setting them on a path to lifelong success.

When you give to Camp Fire, you’re fueling the fire that will illuminate the path for future generations!

Together, we can ignite a brighter tomorrow!

Giving Activity

Mission

Camp Fire First Texas invests in North Texas communities by providing out-of-school time and outdoor learning programs for children and youth while also offering workforce development programs for the educators who care for them.

We envision a community in which every child has equitable access to the quality learning opportunities they need to succeed and thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Needs

Unrestricted support is the cornerstone of our success at Camp Fire First Texas. It gives us the flexibility to meet urgent needs, expand vital programs, and seize new opportunities. Your gift, used where it’s needed most, fuels our ability to adapt, grow, and create lasting impact for the children, teens, and families we serve.

Equity Statement

Camp Fire believes in the dignity and the intrinsic worth of every human being. We welcome, affirm, and support young people and adults of all abilities and disabilities, experiences, races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, religion and non-religion, citizenship and immigration status, and any other category people use to define themselves or others.
