Camp Impact

Camp Impact is a free, week-long, day camp for underprivileged and homeless youth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. At Camp Impact, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of summer camp, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Each summer, we give 150 kids the chance to attend camp at no cost to their families. For many of the kids that attend, Camp Impact is the one week of the year where they truly get to be a kid and forget about any of the stressors that they face at home. It is our goal for each child that comes to Camp Impact to leave feeling loved, supported, and valued.

Each day, campers are provided with two meals and a snack. They also get to take home a bathing suit and a new pair of tennis shoes at the end of the week. Throughout camp, the kids participate in activities such as science, art, cooking, sports, and the all-time favorite, swimming! We also bring in entertainment, such as the Creature Teacher, take the oldest group on a college tour, and throw a big end of camp carnival to celebrate a great week. 

This Giving Tuesday, all donations up to $5,000 will be matched! Help us to reach our goal! All donations will go directly to buying supplies, food, shoes, bathing suits, and everything else needed to give each camper the best summer ever!
