At the CACRC, we believe every child has the right to speak their truth and have access to healing resources after experiencing abuse. This North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to "Be a Superhero for Kids" in our community
and help create a safer tomorrow.

What Is a Children's Advocacy Center?
When a child experiences abuse, neglect, trafficking, or has witnessed a violent crime in Rockwall County, they are taken to the CACRC. Here, children and their non-offending guardian can receive a forensic interview, family advocacy services, and trauma-informed therapy at no cost to the family.
The Need in Rockwall County:
In 2023, the CACRC served over 900+ unduplicated children and family members in Rockwall County. With 1 in every 10 children experiencing sexual abuse before their 18th birthday, our team is dedicated to awareness and prevention in the community through educational programs for adults and students. The CACRC works closely with our multi-disciplinary team of law enforcement, medical professionals, Child Protective Services, and prosecutors to ensure families who have experienced abuse receive every service needed to take action and begin the healing process.
