The C. V. Roman Medical Society, a local society of the NMA, is a community of physicians in the Dallas/Fort Worth area whose mission is to advance the art and science of medicine for people of African descent via education, advocacy, and health policy to promote health and wellness, eliminate health disparities and access to care, and sustain physician liability.
Raising scholarship funds for medical students in the DFW area. We have provided this year 20000 dollars in scholarship to area medical students.
We hope to be in a position to provide more scholarships to more students.
