The C. V. Roman Medical Society is the Dallas/ Fort Worth Society of the National Medical Association
The National Medical Association (NMA), founded in 1895, is the largest and oldest organization representing African American physicians and their patients in the United States. Our goal is to generate philanthropic support to advance medical education, promote health awareness, increase access to quality healthcare, and provide scholarships to support the next generation of physicians.

The path to a career in medicine is both rigorous and costly. In addition to academic demands, aspiring physicians face significant financial burdens, including examination fees, application costs, and expenses related to attending medical conferences, all of which are vital components of professional development.
These costs often present substantial obstacles, even for the most dedicated and capable students.
Our organization is committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders by providing scholarships and financial assistance to help alleviate these burdens. With your support, we can empower medical students to pursue their goals without the added stress of financial hardship.
This North Texas Giving Day, your contribution will help ensure that deserving students have the resources they need to succeed in their medical training and beyond.
Together, we can invest in the future of healthcare—one student at a time.
