My name is Celine Broecker,

I started Celine’s Cats & Canines Rescue in 2015. I am a 501c3 Nonprofit organization. My mission is to rescue, spay/neuter, microchip and medically treat the animals that have been given up on before finding them wonderful new homes!

I never dreamed I would have a place of my own to help the animals that need it the most!

Although, I struggle with my high functioning autism disabilities some times and have been bashed non stop over the animals I do rescue. I believe that I am doing the best that I can, with what I have or with what has been given to me.

I do have some support but I don’t get the support that other rescues do.

So yes, I do not have a fancy set up, although that is my goal eventually. For now we have our out door dog runs that are covered and have provided food/water and shelter. We also have two buildings that are being used for indoor kennels and cages but they do not have indoor/out door access. Thus why we have to rotate dogs. So they can run around the play yard to stretch their legs and socialize with other dogs.

I also don’t have volunteers that come on a consistent bases like other rescues do.

So the brunt of the Rescue life is left to myself and my husband Cody. We work tirelessly to maintain the best care we can for the animals. We get up early and start chores. Which includes but is not limited too. Feeding, emptying out and re-filling water dishes, rotating dogs to the play yard, cleaning kennels and cages. Checking all kennels and cages for any damages and repairing those.

When those chores are done. We then check our calendar to see who is due for Vet checks, shots and other routine vet care. The trick is finding the help to transport to and from the vet(s) office or TCAP for care.

I feel Celine’s Cats & Canines is a wonderful sanctuary to those in need. Especially those that have been given up on. The dogs don't ask to be here but it's better than being dumped on the streets, being hit by a car, or sitting in a shelter that doesn’t give them the time and care that I believe I try my best to give.

Mission

When we first started I did not know what I was doing. It was hard. I tried to save as many as I could even while having autism. It was hard emotionally there was so many that needed help. I have come so far from where I started 10 plus years ago. I purchased our very own property three years ago. After thousand of dollars I spent replacing the tarps for the roofs we finally found someone willing to put the metal roofs on and of course we would buy the material. We have upgraded the play yards and have tons of agility stuff for the dogs to play on. We now have secure fencing. We care for 50

Plus dogs and with ur donation we can continue to upgrade w stuff we need done.
