Needs
The loss of a child is one of the most devastating experiences a family can endure, leaving parents and loved ones searching for comfort, connection, and a place where their grief is seen, understood, and honored. Yet for many families, especially in our region, resources that specifically support child-loss bereavement are limited or entirely absent. Families often navigate their grief in isolation, without accessible spaces for remembrance, peer support, emotional healing, or community connection.
The Butterfly Bridge Foundation was created to fill this critical gap. As we continue to serve families walking through unimaginable loss, the need for a dedicated sanctuary—a permanent, serene space for reflection, remembrance, support gatherings, and healing programs—has become increasingly urgent. This sanctuary will offer families a safe and nurturing environment where their children’s memories can be honored and where parents can access compassionate, community-centered support.
Demand for our services continues to grow, but without adequate space, our ability to serve families fully is limited. Funding is needed to secure the land and begin building this sanctuary so that no parent must walk their grief journey alone and every child lost too soon has a place where their light continues to shine.
