Bubtown Community

A nonprofit organization

Mission

Our mission at Bubtown Community is to create a kinesthetic learning environment for adults with intellectual disabilities. This approach provides unique opportunities for our members to gain self-esteem, cognition and the skills necessary to thrive. Our focus is directed towards education, sports, daily living skills, community living skills and community service. We believe this approach builds relationships, creates memories and enhances the quality of life for our members and the community we serve.

Needs

Our biggest challenge is a physical location. At the moment we are outsourcing to locate businesses that will donate their space to us for select events and programs. We would like a space of our own to utilize this program to its fullest potential.

Our newest expansion to our endeavors is a private transition program and day habilitation program. These two programs cannot be established until our new location is secured.

We are also currently in need of a grant writer as well as an 3D architectural design builder for physical 3-D model.

Equity Statement

Statement of equity for Bubtown Community ending in December of 2024 was $3265.00 and our most current statement ending July 2025 is $6156
