Step inside the Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy on the corner of Peavy and Millmar in East Dallas, and you'll see students growing in confidence and being equipped to seek and solve the world's complex problems.
Through an innovative leadership model, students experience academic rigor and develop a portfolio of exceptional work. Upon graduation, they will present this portfolio to a board of community members to prove their college, career, or military readiness.
We are an official chapter of the Texas PTA, bound by the same mission to make every student's potential a reality. When you give to the Bryan Adams PTSA, you can know that your funds will be put to work right here in East Dallas, including:
Our Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy PTSA is a group of parents, educators, students, and community members committed to supporting our school's rigorous educational program with the academic and behavioral skills necessary to help all students reach their fullest potential and to become responsible life-long learners.
Donations to our Bryan Adams HS Leadership Academy PTSA have not only enabled us to host our annual Homecoming Parade for the past 67th years (!!) but also fund college scholarships for graduating seniors, help offset student graduation fees and event costs, pay for our baccalaureate ceremony, support our food pantry, AND help us provide multiple meals and appreciation gifts for our awesome amazing BAHSLA teachers, admin, and staff throughout the school year. YOUR SUPPORT of our PTSA also helps fund initiatives throughout the year, gifting hygiene products, snacks, uniforms, and even formal clothes to our students in need.
Texas PTA, its Board, and its constituent divisions (Local PTAs and other divisions, including Council PTAs) shall:

- Facilitate communication with families in their communities in languages that they understand, to the extent possible.
- Identify and address barriers that hinder inclusivity.
- Foster programs and practices that eliminate bias, prejudice, and misunderstanding.
- Advocate for funding, laws, and regulations that support programs, policies, and services that meet the health, safety, and educational needs of all student populations in Texas public schools.
- Provide resources and training that develop a more diverse and inclusive group of members, leaders, and community.
