Bridge Builder Academy

At Bridge Builder Academy, we believe education should be as unique as every student. Since 2006, our nonprofit private school has been transforming the lives of students throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area by providing individualized education designed around each student's unique strengths, learning style, interests, and goals.

Many of the students who come to us have struggled to thrive in traditional classrooms. We proudly serve students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences, as well as gifted and twice-exceptional students, competitive athletes, actors, musicians, medically fragile students, and those whose unique schedules require greater flexibility. Rather than expecting students to fit into a standardized educational model, we customize education around the individual because every student deserves a path that fits.

Our signature one-on-one instructional model ensures that every lesson, every educational goal, and every learning experience is tailored to each student. Students also participate in collaborative small-group learning experiences that develop communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills while building lasting friendships. We don't start with labels, we start with the student, helping every child discover confidence, develop a love for learning, and realize their full potential.

Bridge Builder Academy's innovative approach has earned recognition throughout Texas and across the nation. Our students have won multiple first-place NASA HUNCH national championships, developing projects for future space exploration and presenting their work at NASA's Johnson Space Center. Our school has been honored as Richardson's Best Private School, received the Dallas Morning News Best Private School in DFW award for five consecutive years, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Best Private School in DFW award for two consecutive years, earned Cognia's prestigious School of Excellence designation, and has been recognized by the National Association of Special Education Teachers, Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Legislature, members of Congress, and numerous educational organizations for our commitment to serving underserved students.
