$10,000 Goal

This North Texas Giving Day, Boomerang Cares is inviting our community to give in special, intentional, and meaningful ways that create real impact for students and families across Collin County. You can make a financial gift through our North Texas Giving Day page to support our Emergency Fund and other community-funded programs that help us step in when unexpected needs arise.

We are also launching something a little different this year: our Digital Holiday Toy Drive.

Instead of asking you to brave the Texas heat or make an extra stop, we’re bringing the giving experience to you. Shop our Amazon Wish List, choose a toy, and have it shipped directly to the Boomerang Cares office.

Our holiday goal is reach $5,000 and to collect 300 toys for 100 families across Collin County.

North Texas Giving Day also marks the beginning of our holiday giving season, leading into the Boomerang Cares Golf Tournament on October 5, where we’ll continue raising funds to support our December toy distribution and the families we serve.

There are several intentional ways to be part of the comeback:

1. Give through North Texas Giving Day.
2. Choose a toy from our Amazon Wish List.
3. Join us at our October 5 Golf Tournament.

Help us reach $5,000 and 300 toys for 100 Collin County families.

However you choose to participate, your generosity becomes part of something bigger, a community showing up for families when it matters most.

One Community. Countless Comebacks.

Giving Activity

Mission

Boomerang Cares provides timely support when a temporary setback threatens education, enrichment, and milestone moments for students and families across Collin County.

Needs

This holiday season, our goal is to raise $5,000 and collect at least 300 new, unwrapped toys, and help serve 100 families across Collin County.

The toys will help bring holiday joy to local children, while the funds raised will support the broader Boomerang Cares mission — including our Emergency Fund and other community-funded programs that help families with unexpected needs, student support, transportation, school-related expenses, trade school assistance, and other critical gaps.

For many families, the holidays can magnify an already difficult situation. One unexpected expense can quickly turn a tough season into a crisis. Your support gives us the flexibility to step in where the need is greatest and help families regain stability.

Our goal:

$5,000 raised. 300 toys collected. 100 families served.

Equity Statement

At Boomerang Cares, we believe every family and every child deserves the opportunity to move forward with confidence and dignity.

Many of the people we serve do not qualify for traditional assistance, yet still face very real needs. Our role is to help fill those gaps — from a utility bill that prevents disconnection, to a soccer ball and camp tuition, support after a house fire, holiday toys, school-related expenses, or other practical needs that help families and students stay stable, included, and moving forward.

We respond based on the individual need and, whenever possible, pay providers directly to ensure support is used exactly where it is intended.

Our commitment to equity means meeting people where they are, removing barriers traditional assistance may not cover, and providing support with compassion, accountability, and respect.

Everyone deserves the chance to feel supported, included, and able to keep moving forward.
