$20,000 Goal

4,400+ People are Experiencing Homelessness in North Texas right now.

WE’RE ON A MISSION TO CHANGE THAT.

Back on My Feet empowers people to overcome their struggles with homelessness and/or addiction through the power of fitness, community, and essential employment & housing resources. Changing old habits, discovering fresh perceptions of self, and transforming their futures.

Since 2007, Back on My Feet has served more than 15,000 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and engaged more than 150,000 volunteers and supporters. Our members have run a collective 500,000+ miles and obtained more than 10,000 jobs and homes.

With your support, the communities we build together around the U.S. serve as lifelong support systems, removing shame and isolation. It’s about the drive, grit, and courage to take that first step toward a new life. And while it may not be an easy road, we’re there every step of the way.

Help our DFW members make extraordinary changes in their lives.

Every Donation Doubled!

Thanks to a generous match pool from an individual donor, every dollar will be matched up to $10,000. You can offer TWICE as many opportunities and change TWICE as many lives! Donate today for North Texas Giving Day and help us make change in very real ways.

Equity Statement

Everyday, we commit to shaping a better tomorrow, and we pledge to do more.

We are actively achieving greater diversity among our leadership team — including our national board and staff — driven by proactive recruitment strategies.

We're increasing education for our staff, volunteers, and supporters about the impact of racial injustice and the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We create opportunities for open and honest conversation about race, implicit bias, and inequality affecting our colleagues, members, volunteers, and communities.

We internally audit organizational policies, procedures, and practices to ensure fairness and equity.

And we take action on everything we learn.
