For over 27 years, Body & Soul Homeless Program has been a beacon of light in the Dallas Arts District, offering hot meals, personal essentials, clothing, and compassionate care to our unhoused neighbors. Operating every weekend from the basement of the historic St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1816 Routh Street, we provide a safe, welcoming space where guests receive not only physical nourishment—but the spiritual encouragement to pursue lasting change.
Through our Journey Partners program and Connect Program we walk alongside those who are ready to transition off the streets and into productive, purpose-driven lives. Our reputation for consistency, dignity, and heartfelt service has made Body & Soul a trusted refuge for those facing homelessness.
We are 100% donor-funded and powered by a dedicated team of community volunteers—supported only by a hired Security/Peace Officer. As the unsheltered population in Dallas continues to rise, so too does our need for increased support.
We gratefully accept monetary donations, physical goods, and volunteer time—every contribution helps us continue this vital work.

As an ecumenical community and faith-based homeless program, we partner with the public and private sectors to inspire persons experiencing homelessness to lead positive and productive lives.
There are many ways to support the Body & Soul Homeless Program—and every contribution helps us continue serving our unsheltered neighbors with dignity and care.
We gratefully welcome:
• Clothing donations
• Personal care and hygiene items
• Bottled water and daily essentials
• Volunteer time
• Monetary gifts to sustain our weekend meal services
In addition, we’re eager to connect with local professionals who are willing to share their expertise—whether in marketing, fundraising, technology, or program development. Your skills could help us amplify our impact, grow our resources, and expand our offerings to meet rising needs.
Our future is full of promise, and we’re praying for passionate, purpose-driven individuals to walk alongside us. If you feel called to contribute, we’d love to hear from you.

We would also enjoy speaking with any and all professionals from the Dallas community who would like to volunteer their technical skills and abilities to help us raise awareness, increase cashflow, and, or expand our service offerings. Our future looks bright, so we are praying for bright individuals to join us in our mission. Please reach out if you feel like contributing to our team.
Body & Soul Homeless Program proclaims the value of each person as a unique child of God, and we commit ourselves to the healing and wholeness of all persons. We value inclusion, diversity, equity, social justice and human rights.
