BMX local

BMX local is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving local youth through the vehicle of BMX bicycles.

We spend time with local youth, riding bicycles together and investing in positive relationships. We also give resources (bicycles  parts) and provide opportunity for youth in our local area to learn about, participate in and grow in community through riding BMX bicycles.  BMX local helps youth build practical, life, and vocational skills.  We are investing in each other through time, effort, and financial means.

Our goal with North Texas Giving Day in 2025 is to raise funds for a high quality passenger van which will allow us to shuttle kids to and from the skatepark.  Coordinating transportation with the kids and their families is the greatest hurdle we currently face.  A passenger van will allow us to provide a valuable service to neighborhood families who desire for their kids to participate in BMX with us.  Time and transportation are valuable resources and we will be able to care for both of these needs with a shuttle van.
