We are looking for volunteers to create homemade blankets for children in trauma. We also depend on funding donations to purchase supplies to make handmade blankets. Binky Patrol has no paid staff and every dollar we receive goes to support our mission.
We are an all-volunteer, national, non-profit organization dedicated to making and distributing blankets to children in shelters, hospitals, in foster care or those experiencing trauma of any kind. Our recipients are from 0-18 years old.
Binkies can be quilted, sewn, knitted, crochet or fringed. Binkies are soft, washable and made from the heart!
It's not about getting thank yous for making blankets. It's about making a difference, one binky at a time, in the lives of children and teens who need a reminder that someone, somewhere, is thinking of them and that they are loved.
Funds to purchase kid-friendly cotton fabric, thread, batting (blanket fill), fleece, pins, and other materials.
