Bethesda Christian School (BCS) is a calling preparatory school in Fort Worth, Texas. As a private Christian serving preschool-12th grade, Bethesda's Christ-centered programs equip students in achieving excellence in academics, fine arts, athletics, and service in the community, while consistently building and cultivating strong character.
Beginning in our preschool program, our students are empowered to exceed expectations both in the classroom and in every aspect of their lives. Purposeful character development, advanced academic curriculum, and award-winning fine art and athletic experiences equip students for college, ministry, and other life callings. BCS students are well-rounded, prepared children and young adults who have hearts to serve the Lord and find fulfillment in accomplishing God's purposes.
BCS is an evangelical, interdenominational school with selective admissions. We have served students in the Keller, Saginaw, Hurst, Haslet, Bedford, Euless, Arlington, Fort Worth, and surrounding areas in Tarrant County for over 40 years. A ministry of Bethesda Community Church, BCS started in 1980 and is led by a leadership team of passionate educators with over 80 years of combined experience.

At Bethesda Christian School, growth has never simply been about getting bigger. It is about growing our impact strengthening our capacity to serve more students and families with Christ-centered education.
Every day, we have the privilege of helping students discover who God created them to be, preparing them with purpose, and equipping them to make a difference for His Kingdom. That happens in classrooms and chapels, but it also happens on playgrounds, athletic fields, stages, lunch tables, and in the everyday moments students spend building relationships with one another. This North Texas Giving Day, we are investing in one of those spaces outside the classroom.
Our current middle playground has served Bethesda students well for many years, but its aging equipment is reaching the end of its useful life. Our vision is to transform this area into a turfed, flexible free-play and community space, complete with a shade structure that will make it more usable during the hot North Texas months.
Rather than simply replacing playground equipment, we have an opportunity to rethink the space entirely.
We envision a place where children can run, create, imagine, play games, build friendships, and simply be kids. It will primarily serve our preschool and elementary students while also creating another valuable community space for our middle and high school students and additional flexibility for Bethesda athletics after school.
But ultimately, this campaign isn't about turf or a shade structure. It's about students.
We believe God has entrusted Bethesda with the opportunity to help shape the next generation. We want students to leave Bethesda prepared with purpose, not only ready for what comes next academically, but ready to lead, serve, love people well, and make a Kingdom impact wherever God places them. As Bethesda continues to grow, we want our campus to support that calling.
