The current Beckles Dancing Company ranges in age from 16-50 years old. The success has been weaving this age gap into a powerful ensemble of artists. Our live performances this year have been, Shades of Black for Black History Month, Dance Planet with the Dance Council of North Texas, First Draft with Over the Bridge Arts, Simon of Cyrene play with Hamilton Park United Methodist Church, and our annual Spring Show. We have also provided free zoom and in-person classes, SIMPLE BALLET BARRE and KEEP IT MOVING on Wednesday and Friday that are open to the community.

The mission of Beckles Dancing Company (BDC / Dancing is our middle name!) is providing a platform where performers and audiences of all ages are inspired to celebrate the techniques, creative powers and fusion of dance movement. We celebrate the primacy of Dance! As such, Beckles Dancing Company is committed to bringing exciting, entertaining and innovative dance to the broadest spectrum of audiences in the Dallas area and beyond. Further, we are committed to training flexible bodies and minds, adaptable to various forms of movement, in specialization or in combination.
