The Ballet Folklorico Mayahuel Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, comprised of adults who participates on voluntary basis with the drive to learn about their Mexican heritage being their only form of compensation.
We are fortunate enough to have Mariachi Viajero and Temo y sus Principitos, both from Dallas and Trio Huasteco Los Caimanes USA from Houston Texas; accompany us during our performances. The Mariachi, The Norteno Group and The Trio Huasteco, provide live renditions of songs our group will be performing to.
The Word Folklore means “History of a Town or Country”, and the main goal of the Ballet Folklorico Mayahuel its to preserve the Mexican Folklore History in the most traditional way possible through the art of traditional dance.
Funds to purchase customs for the performances and for the Theater rental for the annual anniversary concert.
