WOW! Blue Candlelight Music Series (BCMS) is in its 23th season of providing what one reviewer said was: “Superlative evening of classical music served up with an old world elegance that has regretfully passed away in our fast food world.”
Another reviewer said: “The concerts presented by Blue Candlelight are an elegant evening of music presented in a beautiful home. A buffet of delicious finger foods and some respectable wines add to the experience.”
BCMS was founded in 2002 to enrich the cultural fabric of Dallas by presenting performances by world class musicians in intimate, elegant environments. In that way, an audience could experience classical music and close contact with musicians recreating the atmosphere in which many music masterpieces were originally performed.
Artists in our series include grand prize winners of many world class international music competitions and are consistently praised for their bold and imaginative playing.
We are planning for our 24th Season to be our most creative and extraordinary musical experience. We need your help to make our 23rd season as superlative as we envision it to be.

To nurture a concert series steeped in intimate surroundings of a private home, recreating the same atmosphere for which the works beloved by classical music lovers were written.

Funds for a grant writer, executive director and outreach programs as well as rising costs of concert programs
Equity Statement
The Blue Candlelight Music Series was created on the premise that musicmaking of the highest order cannot take place without embracing the humanity that permeate the great artists of the past, present and future. The Administration, artists and board are selected because a lifelong commitment to this philosophy as well as their standing in the industry is essential to the success of the series as a whole.
Starting in 2001, the series has sought to promote and seek out underrepresented artists, be it on the performance or compositional level and present them in a light that best tells their personal story. Our Administration and artists represent a myriad of cultures and backgrounds with a proven track record of inclusivity.
