Hackberry House is home and has been home to so many residents over the past 22 years. When I opened our doors in 2002 I knew I was providing a much need service for individuals with chronic mental illness. Throughout the years many family members and some residents have said they don't know what they would have done or where they would be if it was not for Hackberry House. I have operated and cared for each resident at Hackberry House as if they were my own family and with the average stay being 15 years they become family.
To increase the quality of life of those we serve by providing supportive and therapeutic services for mental well-being.
