We are all about Youth and the Arts!!!
ArtsVision Performing and Visual Arts is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) designated non-profit organization serving youth in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. We have been serving youth in the Dallas Arts District since 2014.
Confidence! Compassion! Creativity!
This is ArtsVision’s guiding principle as we connect youth to cultures, from around the world, through performing and visual arts. By exploring the arts of different cultures, ArtsVision students develop greater compassion, appreciation, and understanding. The young people's creativity is elevated as they are introduced to new experiences and artistic perspectives. As they learn how to create and present art, our youth gain confidence, realizing that they are part of a larger global arts community and that their voices and contributions matter.
Additionally, we want the experience to be FUN and ENGAGING, sparking a lifelong passion for the performing and visual arts in our students. Through the mentorship of our dedicated ArtsVision teaching artists and interns, we hope to inspire a deep love for the arts, ensuring the process of learning and creating is filled with excitement and joy. This passion, shared by our instructors, will help students build lasting connections with the arts and encourage them to continue exploring their creative potential.
ArtsVision High School Volunteer Internship Program: This program is for high school students who may be considering going into the arts as a performer, arts professional, or educator. Students are invited to apply to be an intern for the two-week summer intensive program. Interns also volunteer for the ArtsVision After School, Saturday Kids, or other outreach programs or activities. Interns not only earn valuable experience, they also shadow an arts professional for 4 weeks. We will interview for 10 volunteer intern positions for each year's summer camp. Interns can earn up to 100 community service hours during the summer.
