Southlake Women's Club Foundation

A nonprofit organization

For twenty years the Southlake Women's Club Foundation has hosted Art in the Square, an annual three day art festival. Through the support of our sponsors, dedicated members, volunteers, outstanding artists, and the community at large, it has consistently ranked as one of the best art festivals in the nation. In 2020, it achieved the prestigious #1 ranking . Due to COVID-19, the event was unfortunately postponed until April 2021.

On top of being a fantastic event, Art in the Square provides much-needed funding to organizations throughout the Northeast DFW area. In 2019, proceeds from the weekend provided $150,000 in grant funds to 30 Northeast Tarrant County 501(c) (3) organizations and $20,000 in college scholarships for local high school students. With those gifts, Southlake Women's Club Foundation surpassed $3 million in grants awarded during its 20 year history.

Our Needs

The need is greater than ever within the beneficiaries we serve. With the cancellation of Art in the Square 2020, the amount of funds we could distribute to the 34 selected beneficiaries we had selected as beneficiaries was only a fraction of the funds requested. Many of the charities we support are small and our grant makes a huge impact on the services they can provide. 100% of the funds we receive through NTGD will be given to those in need.

Mission

The SWCF is dedicated to helping community organizations that focus on enhancing the lives of women, children, and families in Northeast Tarrant County.
