The Arlington Community Band is committed to growing into a fully self-reliant musical organization, and your support helps make that vision possible. While we proudly own much of our core percussion equipment, we’re working to expand our collection with instruments, and to cover essential ongoing costs such as storage, transportation, rising rehearsal and performance space fees, uniforms, music, and advertising. With your generosity, we can continue to provide free concerts during our 2026-27 concert season. Your gift directly strengthens our ability to serve the community with high-quality, accessible musical performances all year long.
The mission of the Arlington Community Band is to provide free or low cost performances and promote the love and appreciation of music to the greater Arlington area. We strive to perform quality concert band literature that will entertain, inspire, educate and enhance the cultural life of our patrons and performers. We strive to encourage continued development of artistic talents, leaderships skills, and performance accomplishments by serving as volunteer musicians.
We use donations to purchase new music, pay for our weekly rehearsal space at AISD, pay our storage fees for all of our percussion instruments, and U-Haul rentals to transport our percussion from storage to concert venues, etc. There is the occasional need to repair current band owned instruments or purchase new as well.
We really need a donation that would allow us to get new embroidered polo shirts for members. We also would like to purchase music stands and folders for members to use at our numerous events.
We would also love a partnership that would allow us to to play at one of the fantastic venues around Arlington like Levitt Pavilion or the AISD Performing Arts Center!
