Our Needs
Every day in America:
5,698 pregnant women suffer with complications
18,356 potential parents face fertility struggles
876 mothers experience premature births
5,194 couples struggle through pregnancy loss
1,369 babies are admitted to neonatal ICU's
In an effort to reduce these numbers we have launched a Healthy Pregnancy Program for North Texas families. with a focus on providing imperative information to expecting mothers to help them maintain a healthy pregnancy, and reduce risks such as preterm labor. These classes will be open to all to attend and help monthly throughout the community.
Mission
The mission of the American Pregnancy Association is to make motherhood a healthy reality and create positive pregnancy outcomes by providing education, research, support and access to care. We accomplish this via our 800 Helpline that is staffed with compassionate pregnancy educators who answer pregnancy-related questions from women and youth from North Texas, the U.S. and 40 countries. We also manage an educational website that features articles and videos on the full range of pregnancy-related topics, from pregnancy avoidance to labor and delivery.
