Allen Contemporary Theatre seeks to entertain and enrich the cultural life of the community through a wide variety of challenging and creative theatrical experiences. We welcome all who wish to participate, help, or express themselves through theatre, both on and off stage. Our motto is "BE PART OF SOMETHING DRAMATIC!" Whether it's on the stage or in the audience, we look forward to seeing you at your theater in the heart of Allen.
Mission
Allen Contemporary Theatre seeks to entertain and enrich the cultural life of the community through a wide variety of challenging and creative theatrical experiences.
Needs
Keeping Allen Contemporary Theatre up and running takes an army of volunteers! We bring in funds with ticket sales, but also depend on the generosity of our patrons. Every donation is appreciated and put to good use.
Our regular costs include:
- Securing performance rights from the publisher
- Costs for set builds, props, costumes, programs for every show
- Ongoing facilities costs such as rent, utilities, & maintenance
- Our long term plan to replace our AC system which will require approximately $25,000
