The Alliance for Pathways into Engineering (formerly TAME) has been transforming lives through engineering education since 1976. Powered by dedicated volunteers, educators, and engineering industry partners, AllPath has a presence in 14 regions across Texas, offering extracurricular engineering education and career exploration opportunities for middle and high school students. AllPath Clubs are primarily located in Title 1 schools to expand access to high-quality engineering education for students from all backgrounds. With more than 2,500 student participants across the state in the 2024-2025 school year, AllPath engaged over 280 students in 11 Clubs across the Dallas and Fort Worth regions.
Statewide, AllPath’s programs are offered completely free of charge and include afterschool engineering education clubs, regional and state engineering competitions, and STEM scholarships for graduating seniors. Our research-backed programming is designed to inspire, support, and empower students as they explore futures in engineering through real-world design challenges and experiential learning.
Here's how we make a difference:
Extracurricular Engineering Education Clubs: AllPath Clubs serve as a welcoming space for students to explore engineering through hands-on projects, engaging instruction, and mentorship. Hosted primarily in Title I schools across Texas, these Clubs encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork while helping students build confidence in their abilities. Clubs meet regularly to work on curriculum-based projects, prepare for engineering competitions, and connect with peers and mentors.
Regional and State Engineering Competitions: AllPath Engineering Competitions are a cornerstone of our programming. Student teams begin at the regional level, where they compete in engineering design challenges focused on real-world issues, such as building electric vehicles and designing systems for water storage and transfer. Top performers advance to the State Competition, where they collaborate with peers from across Texas to tackle an exciting design challenge in teams. These events showcase students' hard work, give them opportunities for recognition, and serve as a highlight of the school year for AllPath student engineers. Competitions are inspiring events that students remember fondly long after the day has passed.
STEM Scholarships: To further support students on their academic journey, AllPath offers scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing degrees in STEM fields. These scholarships help reduce financial barriers, empowering students to attend college and focus on achieving their dreams of becoming future engineers.
Together, AllPath programs provide students with the support, tools, resources, and confidence needed to succeed in engineering and beyond. AllPath's work is to create opportunities for youth from all walks of life to learn about engineering concepts, explore engineering careers, and gain hands-on engineering experience. By sparking curiosity, providing mentorship opportunities, and fostering problem-solving skills, our programs prepare students for college, careers, and beyond.
Your support on North Texas Giving Day helps AllPath expand our reach in the Dallas and Fort Worth regions and offer more opportunities for students to engage in hands-on engineering learning experiences. Together, we can create pathways to success for the next generation of Texas engineers!
