At Accelerate, we know from our 24 years of experience here in Fort Worth that small business ownership can be a challenging, and sometimes isolated, journey. Small business owners must focus on navigating the hundreds of daily decisions they make to succeed, and time isn’t always on their side. Their success, and that of their family and employees, demands many resources and dependable relationships.
We believe that small business owners shouldn’t have to feel isolated from the thousands of others who have traveled the same journey. Rather, they should have a trusted resource hub for quick resolutions, a network of advocates to navigate uncertainty, and accessible funding to grow and strengthen their business.
We provide an array of wrap around services to local small business owners. In addition to intensive case management services, we offer a series of workshops on varying topics from business plan development, accounting practices and social media strategy. We also offer networking events to help small business owners engage with others within the business community. Our co-working space and dedicated offices offer a convenient place to work and a professional environment to hold meetings that are affordable and well below local market rates.
We understand the needs of small business because our leadership members are also entrepreneurs, which is why we have a strong passion for small business and have been a leader in small business assistance in Fort Worth for so many years.
Please join us on North Texas Giving Day, September 21st from 4pm - 6pm for Happy Hour at our offices, 1150 S. Freeway, Bldg 600, Fort Worth, TX 76104. You will have a chance to engage with some of our local small business owners as well as learn more about the programs and services we offer.
We connect dedicated entrepreneurs in the Greater Fort Worth region to the resources they need to develop, launch & grow their business.
Our newest initiative, Connect Fort Worth, seeks to help local entrepreneurs cut through the noise of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and get the help and resources they really need. Connect Fort Worth is community-based and provides holistic services that lead to the the successful development, launch, and growth of small businesses.
This small business support hub model utilizes highly skilled Resource Navigators that provide wrap-around services to small business owners. Resource Navigators provide long-term case management to business owners that streamline service delivery and reduce barriers to start-up and expansion efforts.
A recent survey of local small business owners conducted by Accelerate found that this model will be impactful in helping them succeed. Over 68% of respondents stated that they prefer in-person resources rather than internet-based. Over 88% stated that they would utilize services of a Resource Navigator and over 55% stated they would be willing to drive 10 or more miles if they could actually get the help they need.
Funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will directly support the growth of Connect Fort Worth. Our $15,000 goal will be utilized in support of the Resource Navigator and in providing direct programming resources for local small businesses.
