Located in the heart of downtown Arlington in the historic former JCPenney building, Wellspring on Main is a welcoming destination where people from all backgrounds can connect, create, and celebrate. We believe stronger communities are built when every person is seen, valued, and given the opportunity to belong.
Just as water wells have served as common gathering places for millennia, bringing health and vitality to communities, Wellspring on Main exists to bring people together for the betterment of Arlington. We are a community oasis where relationships are strengthened, creativity is celebrated, and the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our neighbors is nurtured by honoring the dignity of every human being.
Through affordable nonprofit office space, community programming, artist studios and galleries, and an accessible event venue, Wellspring serves as a home for organizations, artists, neighbors, and community leaders working together to strengthen our community. From concerts and art exhibits to celebrations and civic gatherings, our building is alive with opportunities for people to learn from one another, share their gifts, and build meaningful relationships.

Wellspring on Main exists to provide a community oasis, a place where diverse people engage with one another in ways that foster the relational and spiritual health of our community by celebrating the dignity of every human being.
To support implementing our vision we need volunteers and financial contributions to support our existing programming, as well as our future renovation of the 1956 JC Penneys mid-century building. The renovation is a multi-million investment for our community. This facility, tied in with Gene Allen Park, Mineral Well Plaza, and the Levit, will create an activity hub downtown for all citizens to gather, mingle, and play.
Ours is a space and community where civil civic conversations can take place with collaborative partnerships that can promote equity in this 5th most diverse city in America. Wellspring on Main strives to create an environment where everyone is respected, valued, and appreciated regardless of their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, abilities, disabilities, or any other factor.
