$5,000 Goal

Currently we have 30 dogs onsite, many of whom are seniors. We have dachshunds, as well as other small to large breeds here for adoption as well as in sanctuary. Everyone loves to lay in the sunny grass patches and "sun." We are continuously working with the local and regional shelters to pull fur-babies and give them a second chance.  Thank you for helping us to help our seniors stay on meds, keep our birds in feed and warm, and our pigs in food!!

Our Needs

  1. Dry Dog Food (Pedigree is fine!!)
    Bleach
    Drum liners
    Heavy-duty outdoor tarps
  2. All Stock Sweet Feed from TSC (more affordable!)
  3. Duck Food
    Horse feed
    Heavy-duty hoses
  4. heat lamps for the birds in winter

Giving Activity

Mission

Provide dachshunds of all ages forever homes through responsible adoption practices and offer seniors of all breeds a sanctuary in which to live out their days if not adopted. We've branched out into other small dog breeds of all ages and livestock of different species as well.

Needs

We always need dry dog food, drum liners, duck food, all stock sweet feed, senior horse food, wood shavings, 3 in nails/screws, hoses (we go thru hoses for some reason!), tarps, and heat lamps for winter for the birds!

Equity Statement

Abby Road had one monthly donor who donated $100 each month: Mathew Skelly Enterprises. We are super grateful to him. He has moved out-of-state. We have high hopes for donations today to further our cause. We board for $20 a day to raise funds for food and medications for our dogs and our veterinarian. Adoptions and my paycheck supply the rest. As with most rescues, food is our biggest expense. We use a 40-50 bag of food every 2 days with the big dogs, and a similarly sized bag with the littles each week. When we have adoptions, we pay our vet. We try very hard, and usually succeed, in keeping our bill owed to our vet below $1000. Our budget fluctuates depending on which seniors need which assistance in any given month and when monthly heartworm supplies need to be ordered. Thank you for reading about our needs and for any donation you make.
