We help First Responders build their wellness & resiliency toolbox, teaching tactical strategies to combat stress through an interacive eight hour workshop.

Families of first responders serve as well. They sometimes experience the stress their first responder brings home, and some even take on the traumas of their first responder. In response, we created our First Responder Family Wellness and Resiliency Workshop where we help build resilient families, teaching techniques on good communication, how to explain PTSD to children, and provide a guide to help families navigate the changes they might see in their responder as they progress in their career.

Additionally, we assist first responders and first responder families seeking mental health assistance and programs should they request it.

Since 2020, we have served more than 350 first responders and their families in Texas.

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to end suicide in the first responder and veteran communities by providing post-traumatic stress awareness and suicide prevention strategies through an 8 hour interactive workshop designed to combat the stress of the job.

Needs

Funds raised through North Texas Giving Day directly support our Wellness and Resiliency programs for our first responders and their families in Texas. Your monetary support will help us expand our programs and provide scholarship opportunities for those departments with budgetary constraints.
