The AAF Dallas Education Foundation (formerly known as the Dallas Advertising League Foundation) was developed to administer grants and scholarships and serve as the guiding organization for the League’s charitable and scholarship interests. CFT administers the scholarship fund and is how the Foundation achieves its 501 (c) (3) status.
Historically the Foundation awarded both grants and scholarships, but recently all funds were combined into a single scholarship fund, which is the Foundation’s exclusive mission today. In its 20-year history, the AAF Dallas Education Foundation has awarded over 40 scholarships in excess of $100,000 dollars.
Today, it distributes more annual scholarships than ever before in its history. And as the Foundation continues to cultivate future leaders in our industry, its forward-looking vision includes the ambitious goal of distributing 100 scholarships each academic year across our community.
The AAF Dallas Education Foundation provides scholarships to current college students with average academic achievement and financial need working towards a bachelors or masters degree in the field of advertising, marketing or communications at a college or university in the DFW metro area.
Donations of all sizes are welcome. The AAF-Dallas Education Foundation distributes $2,000 annual scholarships to at least 5 students. As donations increase, the number of awarded scholarships and amount of each scholarship continue to increase as well.
