Our Need

Every day, families across North Texas receive the life-altering news: a cancer diagnosis. Amid the shock, appointments, and emotional strain, one practical challenge looms large—who will care for the children?

At A Small Miracle Foundation, we step in to support families when they need it most. We provide free, professional, in-home childcare for families navigating cancer treatment, ensuring that children are safe and supported while their caregivers focus on healing.

This service isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline.

Whether it’s a single parent undergoing chemotherapy, a two-parent household overwhelmed by appointments, or extended family stepping in during crisis—childcare is often the missing piece that makes treatment possible. Our goal is to fill that gap with compassionate, qualified care, at no cost to families.

But we need your help.

Demand for our services has surged. Caregivers are stretched thin. And the cost of consistent, trustworthy childcare continues to rise. Every dollar you give directly funds in-home care for children who need stability in a season of chaos.

Your North Texas Giving Day donation will:

  • Provide professional caregivers to families in active cancer treatment

  • Expand our reach to more counties across North Texas

  • Ensure that no family is turned away due to lack of funding

With your support, we offer more than care—we offer calm, continuity, and small miracles for families in the fight of their lives.
