The Alumni Band promotes Arlington High School by playing various venues such as: The Arlington High School Alumni Association Open House, The City of Arlington's Fourth of July Parade and the City of Arlington's Parade of Lights. The Colt Alumni Band has also performed for several class reunions, and Holiday concerts at numerous retirement centers and shopping centers.
Funds raised from performances have funded the Dean P. Corey Scholarship, private music lessons for students and supplies needed by the current band.
FUNDING FOR:
*Dean P. Corey Scholarship (established 1980 and given to an Arlington High Senior majoring in the music field)
*Private music lessons
*Support the current band by purchasing equipment and supplies not covered by the district.
The Arlington High School Alumni Band's mission is to give back to Arlington High School and promote the Spirit, Pride, and Tradition of Colts from the past present and future.
