A Twist of Faith Outreach

A Twist of Faith Outreach is a Christ-centered nonprofit equipping young mothers to heal from trauma, grow in faith, and transform their families for generations. Through discipleship, coaching, and holistic support, we walk alongside young mothers as they move from crisis to stability.

Our Programs and Services include:

1. EmpowerHER Discipleship Program: EmpowerHER equips young mothers with the tools, coaching, and community they need to overcome barriers, strengthen their faith, and build stability for themselves and their families:
   • Life Coaching: Weekly one-on-one sessions to set goals, track progress, and break cycles of instability.
   • Peer Support Group: A Christ-centered support group fostering sisterhood, healing, and accountability.
   • Pathway Programs: Continued education, skills training, and business empowerment.
   • Wellness Integration: Building strength in the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
   • Pathways to Personal and Professional Development: Through our Pathway Programs, young mothers access the Potential Unleashed: Business Empowerment Series, no-cost education programs, and workforce development initiatives. These pathways equip women to cultivate their God-given gifts and skills, creating income-generating opportunities that foster financial independence and long-term stability.
2. Jireh’s House of Purpose (JHP): For mothers enrolled in EmpowerHER who are pursuing continued education and encounter housing instability, Jireh’s House of Purpose (JHP) provides safe and supportive housing:

   • Immediate Support: A nurturing home environment that provides shelter, stability, and essential services for young mothers and their children.

   • Holistic Care: Faith-based coaching and comprehensive support services that promote healing, independence, and long-term stability.

   • Pathway to Housing: Guidance and advocacy to secure permanent housing, access employment opportunities, and connect with ongoing resources for sustainable success.

3. Community Outreach Center: Through our Community Outreach Center, we connect Southern Dallas families with essential resources, social services, and pathways out of poverty. We also partner with trusted organizations to bring enrichment opportunities to youth and families, including:
   • Essential Support: Access to food, clothing, hygiene items, and emergency resources.
   • Resource Navigation: Connection to housing, healthcare, employment, and educational opportunities.
   • Advocacy for Families: Standing in the gap for individuals and families to ensure they are not overlooked or left behind.
4. Mentorship Programs: Guiding at-risk youth with positive role models who inspire, motivate, and provide guidance on life choices.
   • College Readiness: Equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to succeed in higher education, from application assistance to scholarship opportunities.
   • After-School Enrichment: Engaging activities and educational programs that help youth develop new skills, explore their interests, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
