4 Paws 4 Ever

Founded in February 2025 (the new kids on the blocks), 4 Paws 4 Ever emerged from a deep need to address the skyrocketing rates of dog surrenders, abandonments, and abuse. Unable to stand by, we leveraged our available space and land to start rescuing as many dogs as possible. The need is immense, and our work is far from done.  We could not just stand by and watch.

As a physical location-based rescue, we aim to create a large-scale sanctuary—a long-term commitment to providing safety and care. Unfortunately, not all dogs are adoptable and many will never see their 4ever home, so we must be that for them.  In our short existence, we’ve cared for 50 dogs, successfully finding 4ever homes for 18 and currently have 32 in our care.  Our focus isn’t on the most adoptable dogs but on those running out of time—fearful dogs avoiding human contact, those with bite histories due to mistrust or poor health, and heartworm positive dogs.  Watching these dogs transform fuels our passion.  Seeing a dog get to be a dog again is incredibly rewarding.

Unlike many rescues, we prioritize diet and nutrition by feeding all our dogs a prey model raw diet and adding in supplements when needed. This approach rapidly improves the health of neglected animals, setting them on a path to recovery. Underweight dogs gain, overweight dogs lose, and unhealthy dogs become vibrant.  Their transformations are remarkable.  Each successful adoption—built on compassion, understanding, and healing—frees space for another dog to begin their journey with us.  At 4 Paws 4 Ever, we’re dedicated to helping these dogs find their best lives in a 4ever home.
