Needs

1. A Permanent Home for Boys’ Development

We are seeking support to lease, prepare, and operate the BEXT Center for Boys and Young Men in North Dallas for one full year. The Center will provide a consistent and safe environment for mentoring, learning, skills development, family engagement, and community programming.

2. Technology and BYTES Equipment

We need laptops, tablets, coding resources, software, internet access, audiovisual equipment, and other technology needed to deliver digital-literacy and innovation programming.

3. Boypreneur and Hands-On Training Resources

We need entrepreneurship workbooks, financial-literacy materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and practical learning stations that allow boys to build, create, experiment, and solve real-world problems.

4. Mentors and Skilled Instructors

We seek screened and trained mentors, educators, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, tradespeople, artists, and community leaders who can guide boys and deliver practical learning experiences.

5. Participant Support

Funding is needed for transportation, meals, program materials, shirts, certificates, scholarships, safeguarding, and other assistance that removes barriers to participation.

6. Founding Partners

We are seeking corporations, foundations, churches, schools, businesses, and community organizations to become founding partners of the BEXT Center through funding, equipment, professional expertise, volunteers, and in-kind support.

Equity Statement

Boys Lead Foundation believes every boy should have access to the relationships, opportunities, practical experiences, and supportive environments required to reach his full potential.

We recognize that race, disability, family income, geography, educational access, family circumstances, and other systemic barriers can affect the opportunities available to boys. We respond by creating inclusive programs, reducing barriers to participation, engaging families, and directing resources toward boys and communities with limited access to mentoring and developmental opportunities.

Our programs welcome boys and young men from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, and family backgrounds. We are committed to dignity, fairness, safeguarding, responsible representation, and creating environments in which every participant is respected and supported.

Equity Statement

Boys Lead Foundation is committed to creating a world where every boy and young man—regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, ability, sexual orientation, economic status, or background—has equitable access to the tools, opportunities, relationships, and support needed to reach his full potential.

We recognize that systemic barriers and inequities disproportionately affect boys from underrepresented and underserved communities. Our programs are designed to help remove these barriers by creating inclusive and supportive environments, amplifying diverse voices, reducing obstacles to participation, and promoting representation among our leadership, staff, mentors, and community partners.

We believe equity requires more than equal treatment; it requires intentional action. Through targeted resources, mentorship, advocacy, practical opportunities, and strong community partnerships, we work to ensure that every boy has a meaningful opportunity to learn, lead, develop, and thrive.

Our commitment to equity informs every decision we make, every partnership we form, and every program we deliver.
