Open Horizons is unique in its emphasis in outdoor and community activities for special needs adults. We take care of several animals, garden, cook, and participate in art, music and exercise activities nearly every day. We want our students to feel at home in our family atmosphere and continue to grow as individuals.
Our Needs
We are building a new classroom for our clients by converting a free standing garage. The renovation process will require a contractor, new plumbing, concrete, a bathroom, hvac and many other upgrades.
Our private drive is in need of leveling and pavement for safer access to our center.
We have ongoing needs for art supplies, animal feed, and repairs to our building and appliances.
Mission
We are committed to enriching the lives of special needs adults through life skills and social activities in the outdoors the community, and the home environment.
