North Texas Food Bank

A nonprofit organization

$375,243 raised by 881 donors

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a hunger-relief organization that focuses on providing children, seniors and families access to nutritious foods. Through our network of nearly 500 food pantries and other community organizations, our direct feeding programs, and the help of our dedicated volunteers, we distribute more than 400,000 meals each day and about 2 million pounds per week for North Texans facing hunger. The Food Bank serves 12 counties: Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, and Rockwall.

Today, we ask you to partner with us for North Texas Giving Day. You can give early starting September 1, and donate on Giving Day, Thursday, September 18. Every $1 donated provides access to 3 nutritious meals. Together, we can continue our work toward closing the hunger gap in North Texas. With your support, we know we can meet this goal. We are thankful to have you join us in this important fight against hunger and appreciate your continued support.

Mission

The North Texas Food Bank's mission is to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food.

We believe hunger is unacceptable. We envision a hunger-free, healthy North Texas, and live our core values of Integrity, Compassion, and Collaboration.

Every dollar donated to North Texas Food Bank provides access to three (3) healthy meals for North Texas families experiencing hunger, and 94 percent of our resources go directly to hunger relief programs.

- Serving and embracing North Texas' many populations, continuing to develop and revise practices to meet the need.

- Cultivating a welcoming workplace culture, in which employees feel their unique talents are respected, valued and celebrated.
