The New Texas Symphony Orchestra - Dallas' premier community orchestra - is an all-volunteer, nonprofit performing arts group. We provide both musicians and audiences inspired opportunities to enjoy great symphonic music.
Now celebrating our 20th anniversary “platinum” season, the ensemble is led by founder and artistic director Dr. Kathryn D. "Cathy" Brownlee, who has been active in the local performing arts community for many years.
In the Fall of 2019, NTSO launched "Free Concerts for ALL", our commitment to make all concerts free and accessible to the public. This initiative, plus a dedication to diversity in programming, has better connected NTSO to an increasingly diverse audience.
NTSO needs your help to cover the cost of one concert. As we continue presenting free concerts, our greatest need is to replace ticket sales with your generous gift this North Texas Giving Day.
This helps us cover our essential expenses, including the following:
With your generosity, we can continue enriching Dallas through free live symphonic music.
The mission of the NTSO is to enrich the greater Dallas communities. We offer inspiration and entertainment by connecting the patrons of North Texas with live symphonic music.
