Incorporated in 2001, the MHMR Foundation is the 501(c)(3) organization that supports My Health My Resources (MHMR) of Tarrant County. The Foundation raises funds and fosters community support for the 70,000 people of MHMR, including babies, children, youth, and adults with developmental delays, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and behavioral health disorders.

Our Needs

  1. Therapies for babies and children with delays and disabilities
  2. Funding in support of homeless veterans at Liberty House
  3. Funding in support of mental health and recreation at the Youth Center and The Campus
  4. Assistance for group home residents with developmental delays and disabilities for holiday gifts, community outings, and annual celebrations and birthday parties
  5. Arts & crafts supplies and garden supplies for our substance use treatment centers
  6. Emergency supplies for those served by our integrated homeless clinic
  7. Books, magazines, arts & crafts supplies, and video games for residential programs

Mission

The MHMR Foundation raises funds and fosters community support for the people and programs of My Health My Resources (MHMR) of Tarrant County and North Texas.

The Foundation's primary purpose is to ensure the availability of quality services; to heighten awareness within our communities of behavioral health and substance use disorders, early childhood needs, and intellectual and developmental disabilities; and to acquire funds that underwrite supplemental services to enhance the lives of people served by MHMR.
