Melange Musical

We have been performing classical music concerts in Grapevine since 2007 with outstanding musicians from our Major Symphonies and Universities. We are performing 3 concerts this season on Sunday November 11, 2018 at 4PM, Thursday January 10, 2019 at 7:30PM, and Thursday March 7, 2019 at 7:30PM at the Lancaster Theatre in Grapevine. These two-hour concerts will feature a variety of classical chamber works performed by professional musicians in the DFW area including members of the Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, and Irving Symphonies, professors from Local universities such as UNT, TCU, and SMU and the occasional outside guest artist. These concerts include informative, educational commentary about the composers, pieces, and performers by a professional speaker. We are proud to bring great classical music to downtown Grapevine and to our local community at reasonable prices. Ticket sales only cover a fraction of our costs. Our success depends on your generous support and keeps Classical Music alive in Grapevine, and Tarrant County.

Our Needs

We are scheduling 3 Chamber Music Concerts for the 2018-2019 season. We are looking to cover only our immediate expenses of hall rental, piano rental, hiring the best musicians, rehearsal time, promotion costs, printing costs, etc. Each concert costs about $6500 to produce. Like most Classical Music non-profit groups, ticket sales only count for a fraction of our budget and we depend on the generosity of our local businesses, grants, and individual donations. We are also looking for a concert piano to use in our concerts. If someone would like to donate a concert piano, our pianist could come and try it and see if it is the quality we need.
